FROM MATTIE, With love

Our journey began with Mattie, our first family dog, many years ago. Her spirit and the way she connected with everyone left an indelible mark on us, teaching us that “standard” care is insufficient. Every dog deserves to be seen as an individual, not just a routine.

We built High Paw to carry that idea forward—moving away from crowded warehouses to create a serene, intentional space that adapts to each dog’s comfort level, just as Mattie would have wanted. Mattie remains at the heart of everything we do. Our logo is based on her final paw print, given to us by the vet before we bid her farewell. Every dog who enters our doors is cared for with the same level of love, patience, and respect.

Despite being almost two decades since her passing, Mattie’s spirit continues to guide us.
